The Nationwide Recess Rally takes place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009. If you believe your liberty, your hard earned money and your way of life is under attack through dangerous healthcare legislation currently being proposed, get to your local Representative office on August 22nd and make sure he/she knows.

Many of the original groups behind TaxDayTeaParty.com are joining together for the Nationwide Recess Rally. This is a collaborative effort to make it known that we will not stand for socialized, government controlled healthcare.

Comment by Matthew Craig on August 18, 2009 at 6:22pm: The last Rally at Harry Mitchells office, we met an hour before, at the Trader Joes parking lot at Gilbert and Baseline, for those who live in Mesa. Otherwise plan to be at his office at 8:45am. SE corner of Camelback and Scottsdale road.

My perspective is, the decloration is self evident; the spinless men in our congress, only a handful believe and uphold the truths of our decloration of independence. Please read below, and see the power withing these words. We need a Congress reform. Burn the HR 3200, and call it CR 3200, for 2010 congress reform. Ingrain yourself with the decloration, and bring it with you to the townhalls, rallys, etc. I invite you to watch the utube response, from Senator Orrin Hatch. Just type in, Sen Orrin Hatch u tube site. He has a very encouraging message. The first part of the DELORATION OF INDEPENDENCE: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness".
