Event Description

Those who oppose SB1070 in Arizona have had their say. With sporadic outbursts of violence, shouting and civil disobedience, they have made their intentions clear - that enforcement of the law is not a top priority for them.

It is now our turn!

Join thousands of other Americans as they make their way from the far reaches of America on a four day Freedom March Across America beginning June 1, 2010 culminating in a mass rally in Phoenix, Arizona on June 5, 2010.

The rally is called Phoenix Rising for a reason. On this day Americans will come together and watch as the Phoenix rises from the ashes of non-enforcement of our immigration laws that has gone on for decades. They will stand for the rule of law and in support of Arizona and its new law SB1070. They will call for a groundswell of other states to take on the duty our federal government has failed to uphold.

This promises to be the largest rally in American history demanding that the states and federal government secure our borders and crack down on illegal immigration. The federal government has been shirking its duty for far too long as Americans have carried the burden of their lack of action. All the while Americans have been demanding that our laws be enforced - and we have been ignored.

Americans are no longer remaining silent. It is time now for you to join your fellow citizens. It is time to stand up and demand enforcement, high unemployment due to illegal labor and the immoral burden being placed on both their own an end to non-and their children's backs by people who have chosen to break the law in entering our country.

Join us in the Freedom March starting June 1 and we'll see you across from the State Capitol building in Phoenix at Wesley Bolin Park.

1. Let's adopt Mexico's Immigration Law... that is all we need to do and all problems will be solved!

One thing I would say to Calderon "Stop your corruption and provide equal opportunity to your people so they don't feel the need to come and seek opportunity in another country".

To be honest I am tired of all the rantings about how racist this law is...

To all illegal immigrants breaking the law; please stop with the I am ENTITLED crap...you knew that you were breaking our laws when you chose to cross our border illegally; or when you were in here legally but let your visa expire and chose to stay in this country illegally. You all were very aware of the consequences you would face.

We need to do away with the anchor baby law, it is just another way for illegals to come here and have a boat load of kids and expect our system to take care of them; what other country would allow this craziness?

I used to be a Democrat and that is one CHANGE this administration has brought to me (I am so lucky that I am no longer blind), I am no longer a democrat or republican... I am an AMERICAN and we have lost our way with the greed, corruption, and trying to take the one thing out of our lives that matters the most, GOD, we need to get back to the basics that made this country great, the land of opportunity, the land of the free, the land of the brave and most importantly the land of laws.

I am disgusted with what they (government) are doing to our country, the greatest country on earth. For those who serve our country in the military I THANK you, I thank your families for their sacrifice, I honor those that have lost life and limb for this country.

But, when they show up, IF they show up, we'll do what we always do. Have the police move them across the street. It's almost a routine, now.
On the humorous side, across the street, are the illegals. That should make it interesting.

OK? But I realize that in the political sprectrum I have to make a choice. I can be on the Left with all of the communists, socialists and Marxists inspired by Chariman Obama or I can be on the Right and understand that Nazis and skin heads are going to show up as the extreme right wing of the Republican party. They have to show up some place! It won't be with the Lefists, communists or socialists! It's been this way throughout the world for almost a hundred years now. Deal with it.

I think its extremely important that as the movement catches on we are able to put more folks in the streets and before the media cameras as the opposition. Maybe then the rest of the country will start to take us seriously!!
