Hi Bruce. That little snippet goes past socialism and straight into complete government control over one's life and one's privacy. This is fascism, Marxism or communism or whatever pretty words you want to call it but I call it Treason to "we, the people" and our beloved constitution and these Congress people and Senators that signed onto this bill should be impeached, tried and imprisoned.
Let's try them in New York right along with KSM and the other 911 attackers.

Page 22 of the HEALTHCARE Bill: Mandates that the Government will audit books of all employers that self-insure!!

Page 30 Sec 123 of HEALTHCARE bill: THERE WILL BE A GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you get.

Page 29 lines 4-16 in the HEALTHCARE bill: YOUR HEALTH CARE IS RATIONED!!!

Page 42 of HEALTHCARE Bill: The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HEALTHCARE benefits for you. You have no choice!

Page 50 Section 152 in HEALTHCARE bill: HEALTHCARE will be provided to ALL non-US citizens, illegal or otherwise.

Page 58 HEALTHCARE Bill: Government will have real-time access to individuals' finances, and a 'National ID Health card' will be issued!

Page 59 HEALTHCARE Bill lines 21-24: Government will have direct access to your bank accounts for elective funds transfer. (Time for more cash and carry)

Page 65 Sec 164: Is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in unions & community organizations: (ACORN).

Page 84 Sec 203 HEALTHCARE bill: Government mandates ALL benefit packages for private HEALTHCARE plans in the 'Exchange.'

Page 85 Line 7 HEALTHCARE Bill: Specifications of Benefit Levels for Plans -- The Government will ration your health care!

Page 91 Lines 4-7 HEALTHCARE Bill: Government mandates linguistic appropriate services. (Translation: illegal aliens.)

Page 127 Lines 1-16 HEALTHCARE Bill: Doctors/ American Medical Association - The Government will tell YOU what salary you can make.

Page 145 Line 15-17: An Employer MUST auto-enroll employees into public option plan. (NO choice!)

Page 126 Lines 22-25: Employers MUST pay for HEALTHCARE for part-time employees AND their families. (Employees shouldn't get excited about this as employers will be forced to reduce its work force, benefits, and wages/salaries to cover such a huge expense.)

Page 149 Lines 16-24: ANY Employer with payroll 401k & above who does not provide public option will pay 8% tax on all payrolls! (See the last comment in parenthesis.)

Page 150 Lines 9-13: A business with payroll between $251K & $401K who doesn't provide public option will pay 2-6% tax on all payroll.

Page 167 Lines 18-23: ANY individual who doesn't have acceptable HEALTHCARE according to Government will be taxed 2.5% of income.

Page 170 Lines 1-3 HEALTHCARE Bill: Any NONRESIDENT Alien is exempt from individual taxes. (Americans will pay; Like always)

Page 195 HEALTHCARE Bill: Officers & employees of the GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE Admin. Will have access to ALL Americans' finances and personal records. (I guess so they can 'deduct' their fees)

Page 203 Line 14-15 HEALTHCARE: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." (Yes, it really says that! a 'fee' instead)

Page 239 Line 14-24 HEALTHCARE Bill: Government will reduce physician services for Medicaid Seniors. (Low-income and the poor are affected.)

Page 241 Line 6-8 HEALTHCARE Bill: Doctors: It doesn't matter what specialty you have trained yourself in -- you will all be paid the same! (Just TRY to tell me that's not Socialism!)

Page 253 Line 10-18: The Government sets the value of a doctor's time, profession, judgment, etc. (Literally-- the value of humans.)

Page 265 Sec 1131: The Government mandates and controls productivity for "private" HEALTHCARE industries.

Page 268 Sec 1141: The federal Government regulates the rental and purchase of power driven wheelchairs.

Page 272 SEC. 1145: TREATMENT OF CERTAIN CANCER HOSPITALS - Cancer patients - welcome to rationing!

Page 280 Sec 1151: The Government will penalize hospitals for whatever the Government deems preventable (i.e..re-admissions).

Page 298 Lines 9-11: Doctors: If you treat a patient during initial admission that results in a re-admission -- the Government will penalize you.

Page 317 L 13-20: PROHIBITION on ownership/investment. (The Government tells doctors what and how much they can own!)

Page 317-318 lines 21-25, 1-3: PROHIBITION on expansion. (The Government is mandating that hospitals cannot expand.)

Page 321 2-13: Hospitals have the opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input is required. (Can you say ACORN?)

Page 335 L 16-25 Pg 336-339: The Government mandates establishment of=2 outcome-based measures. (HEALTHCARE the way they want -- rationing.)

Page 341 Lines 3-9: The Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Advance Plans, HMOs, etc. (Forcing people into the Government plan)

Page 354 Sec 1177: The Government will RESTRICT enrollment of 'special needs people!' Unbelievable!

Page 379 Sec 1191: The Government creates more bureaucracy via a "Tele-Health Advisory Committee." (Can you say HEALTHCARE by phone?)

Page 425 Lines 4-12: The Government mandates "Advance-Care Planning Consult." (Think senior citizens end-of-life patients.)

Page 425 Lines 17-19: The Government will instruct and consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney, etc. (And it's mandatory!)

Page 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3: The Government provides an "approved" list of end-of-life resources; guiding you in death. (Also called 'assisted suicide.' Sounds like Soylent Green to me).

Page 427 Lines 15-24: The Government mandates a program for orders on "end-of-life." (The Government has a say in how your life ends!)

Page 429 Lines 1-9: An "advanced-care planning consultant" will be used frequently as a patient's health deteriorates.

Page 429 Lines 10-12: An "advanced care consultation" may include an ORDER for end-of-life plans. (AN ORDER TO DIE FROM THE GOVERNMENT?!?)

Page 429 Lines 13-25: The GOVERNMENT will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order. (I wouldn't want to stand before God after getting paid for THAT job!)

Page 430 Lines 11-15: The Government will decide what level of treatment you will have at end-of-life! (Again -- no choice!)

Page 469: Community-Based Home Medical Services = Non-Profit Organizations. (Hello? ACORN Medical Services here!?!)

Page 489 Sec 1308: The Government will cover marriage and family therapy. (Which means Government will insert itself into your marriage even.)

Page 494-498: Government will cover Mental Health Services including defining, creating, and rationing those services.

Jake - Go to Mapquest for turn by turn directions. (http://www.mapquest.com) There you can enter your starting point and the end point of 8500 E Haverhill Ln, Tucson. Mapquest will produce a map from your starting point to the destination (which you can print out) plus the directions.

Old-fashioned bake sale for Ruth McClung

An old-fashioned bake sale will be held to raise money for Ruth McClung for Congress, on Sunday, December 6, from 2-4pm. The event will be at the home of Grace Schnakenberg – the pool area behind her home. Cakes and cookies will be served along with tea and coffee. Please bring a cake or some cookies if you can. We will have a good time eating the sweet stuff (what Obama would like to outlaw), and selling a few!

Ruth will get us ready for the Christmas season by speaking on: “Why Santa Claus is a Republican”

Grace’s comments: Come and support Ruth and her grassroots campaign. If you can’t come just send a check. Come and bring friends, neighbors, relatives! We need millions, but more than that we need your time, support and prayers!

DIRECTIONS! Grace lives in the Wrightstown Square Homes off of E. Pima St.or E. Wrightstown Rd. depending on which way you are coming. The pool area is at 8500 E Haverhill Ln. (2nd street on the left from Pima on the west side of street). Please park on Pima St., because you can’t park on the roads in Wrightstown Square. If you can’t walk, Grace has arranged for you to be dropped off at pool area, then your car will be parked.


Ruth will at Yuma’s Tea Party on December 12

Ruth and her campaign will be heading to Yuma on December 12 for a Tea Party from 10-12 noon at the Arizona Marketplace on 32nd Street. Look for our tables with the Ruth McClung for Congress CD 7 banners. You will be able to talk to Ruth, sign her petition, and pick up some of her new literature and her cool new bumper stickers. After the Tea Party - Ruth and her campaign are heading across the street for a BBQ lunch at John & Maggie’s Ranch House - ya’ll are welcome to join us!

Just remember everyone. More 2nd amendment rights were lost under Republicans then Democrats. This is sadly true...

Hi Charles. I lived in California for a few years and went to college there in the great land of fruits n nutz and I legally bought an AK-47 in a gun shop. A year later Cali made my rifle banned. I was moving back to Spokane Washington at the time so I really didn't concern myself with their wacky laws in my mind except one day while I was at work the police knocked up on my door and threatened my wife that they were there to collect the banned firearm and that if she did not surrender the banned firearm she could be arrested for obstruction and a felony for being in possession of a banned firearm unless she just turned it over and of coarse I never saw my rifle again. Nor the value of that rifle that was bought legally and never compensated for. It did own others and they knew it because they were registered but that day, they wanted just that one.
The government doesn't care about what the people say anymore. They don't all that much what we think unless they need to throw us a bone to ensure they still get re-elected. But you can be sure they mostly know who most likely has firearms and who for sure has them and they will come for them. I'm going out the back door before they show up next time. They only need an excuse... But, they want to come.

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, DOES GIVE US THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, WE INTEND TO KEEP OUR ARMS AND FIGHT FOR THAT RIGHT WITH THEM.

Charles, See my hands? Both of them? Clenched tight? Facing Washington? You know the vote was deliberately close so the Dems could CTA (cover their A--). They are trying to play the public like a violin. You and I, however, like most the rest of the tea party, know what they are up to. I can't wait for another mass march on DC. The signs won't be so polite then.
