The Tea Party Patriots are a completely non-partisan, spontaneous movement made up of hundreds of thousands of patriots from all around the nation. We the people are the Tea Party Patriots!

On April 15th, 2009, you, the Tea Party Patriots of America assembled in over 850 cities, totaling over 1.2 million Patriots, and creating the single largest, multi-city protest in American history. You did this. You made it happen. You are the people. You are the Tea Party Patriots. This movement has no single leader. This movement has millions of leaders. You are leaders of this movement. This is a true grassroots movement, and the direction, message and methodology of this movement are driven from the ground up. This is the way We will change America. April 15th was just the beginning.

Now we all know that we are not alone. We are no longer silent. We will no longer sit idly by and watch politicians of both parties mortgage our children's future and destroy this great nation. We are the majority, we are organized, we are activated, we are networked, and we are empowered with the latest tools and technology. From Hawaii to Washington DC, we are in the big cities and we are in the small towns. We are your neighbors, your friends and your fellow employees. We drive the buses, we swing the hammers, we teach the children, we bag your groceries. We are the people. For too long, politicians have used party affiliation and social issues to divide us. They have used these divisions to hide what they are doing at the local, state an national level. Every day they take more and more of our money, and yet it is never enough to satisfy their appetites for spending. The economy is shrinking, and yet government is growing at an unprecedented rate. Now that we have partied together, it is time for action. We have a direction action plan to change this great country so that it once again reflects the common sense of the great majority of American people.

Our Team

Amy Kremer is the Nationwide Event Coordinator for the Tax Day Tea Party movement, an Atlanta Co-Chair for the 2/27 and 4/15 events, and the founder of the Tea Party Patriots social networking site.

Mark Meckler organized the Sacramento tea party, is the California state coordinator, and has played a key role in the national coordination effort to date. Mark is a practicing internet compliance attorney with a decade of experience as general counsel and chief operating officer for companies that market on the web.

Jenny Beth Martin is the Co-Chairman of the Atlanta Tea Party, Director of Congressional Outreach and Tea Party Liaison for Smart Girl Politics (http://smartgirlpolitics.org) and did huge work for the 2/27 and 4/15 events.

Rob Neppell has joined the effort to help drive our technology and website efforts. Rob is co-founder of Porkbusters with Glenn Reynolds, co-founder of Top Conservatives on Twitter (TCOT) with Michael Patrick Leahy, and developed the site http://readthestimulus.org, among other projects.
