My name is Bill Ernest, Jr. I am a Freelance Writer and Comic, currently working on a compilation of short Science Fiction stories and until recently I was prepping material for a run at Last Comic Standing but as you may know; the brain trust at NBC cancelled it in favor of “Law & Order: Ridiculous Victims Unit” or some other such non-sense. My non-fiction (
and non-funny) works have appeared in numerous small press newspapers, magazines, and websites. I have been a student of Journalism, Radio/TV/Film Production, Political Science, Philosophy, Theatre Arts, and History. I was a practicing member of the
Comedy Sportz Improv Comedy troupe of San Antonio. I have competed in speech tournaments at the collegiate level and was the Web-Editor of an award winning newspaper’s web edition. I was also a reporter for the print-edition. I have covered Pelosi's tax payer paid for victory lap around the nation and interviewed one of the few men who actually walked on the moon... At one time, I was the host of a news/entertainment program on a 3-county wide local cable system in Northern California. I am a decorated Veteran & a former Air Traffic Controller.

I'm in the process of turning a video storyline on Congress' activities into a narrative script. I've got 3 months research into it from 85 sources. It WILL have humor in it. TITLE: "Bamboozled". Please allow me to bend your ears about our Veterans groups recent activities and to invite you, one and all, to our meeting on Saturday...

Veterans for AmericaThis Saturday, Oct. 23rd, the Disgruntled Veterans group will be meeting at Indian Steele Park (10 a.m.)… Our political action committee is now all official with the state and we may now start rallying-the-troops. So, we are gonna need all-hands-on-deck to get every Veteran in The Valley of the Sun registered to vote; from the Old Soldiers Home to the Homeless Shelter and every VFW and American Legion hall in between; getting Veterans informed and to the voting booths on election day; recruiting honorable men and women to run against corrupt incumbents; and lobbying politicians and protesting scoundrels en masse to protect this country, its Constitution, and its Veterans.
If you cannot make it in person:

“Give a Vet a Smile”
Veterans Dental Charity
As you may well know, the Veteran’s Administration is financially unable to provide ANY dental care to needy veterans. Plenty of dough to hand out to bankers but the government cannot, of course, spare a dime to give a vet a smile. This is where we will try to help… a new smile will go a long way towards getting these veterans on their feet and instilling them with a new confidence and pride. The paperwork is currently pending, special thanks to Hugh Kealer, and we have received more interest from the dental and medical community than I had initially expected… we can truly make a difference in the lives of veterans!
Bringing Back the Guard
Those of you who have been at the meetings, know that we are seeking to “recall” the Arizona Nat’l Guard and Air Nat’l Guard through a ballot initiative… we do not wish to argue the validity of either of these wars, the group and our ballot initiative merely wishes to convey that the Emergency for which the Guard was called to duty was eight (8) years ago and is no longer an “emergency” but a way-of-life and therefore should be fought with Regular Federal Troops and not the Ready Reserves of the Individual States. The Federal Government’s prosecution of these wars since both their inceptions has been haphazard at very best; with its ill-conceived strategies and impossible rules-of-engagement that have quite literally cost American soldiers their lives. The people of Arizona are tired of their sons and daughters being used as pawns in some international game of politics and next election day will say… “No More!”
