Patriots from various ideological camps, coming together to fight for three intersecting issues....Each of us has our own issue that we are most passionate about. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Constitutionalists, and Independents have three important issues that bring us together: fiscal responsibility, Constitutional adherence, and free market. The Greater Phoenix Tea Party focuses primarily on those three issues, while we welcome others from the outer issues to report to us the status of their work and challenges. As we stick to the core principles, we become a firm network of multi-partisan, multi-issue patriots!
Hi Mike, this is what we are about. It is a struggle. Tempers still flare up because we all feel betrayed. If these 3 principles stand the Patriot test, you might consider helping us form other groups in every neighborhood across America. I believe small groups, no larger than, say 20, accomplish more in 2 hrs across the table, face to face, than 100 in the same room will ever achieve in 10 meetings. That concept is my opinion and does not reflect the opinion of this site. this is great. I can say that on this site, and noboby has fired me yet, because I am sure somebody disagrees.

We are currently compiling a resource list of organizations we can refer you to regarding the outlying issues. Thank you for your support!

I attended the Gilbert Tea Party this morning. Though I don't live in the area, I arrived to provide support and share time with like-minded Americans who feel frustrated. To my surprise, I also found disappointment.

My disappointment comes in the fact that this was supposed to be representative of the original Tea Party when citizens were tired of government control and wanted a new government. Today's gathering in Gilbert wasn't about getting a new government, it was about getting a new Republican Party; better yet how to take it back and, specifically, return it to Christianity as evidenced by the initial invocation and repeated reference to Biblical scripture. You can't swap out government control for religious control of the nation. You can't swap out political control for party control of the nation. Neither parties nor religion control a Republic. The people control a Republic via their charter. The Tea Party in Gilbert today could have been a uniting point, bridging people of all status to one cause regardless of political affiliation or sacred beliefs. Obama promised change and had he left me any, I would have dropped it in the collection plate at the end of church...I mean Tea Party, today.

I will continue to support the cause, because I believe in it. If experiences like today's continue, I will consider other ways to lend support in effort to return America to, truly, the home of the Free (politics, religion, taxes, government control, etc.).

July 4th celebrates independence and freedom. Independence through a breaking away from British rule, was established this day. Driving toward independence was the desire to be free from government intervention into daily life. On this day, so many years later, we are still independent of British rule, but do we have the same level of freedom from government? Consider the past 6 months as banks and corporations have been taken over by the government. Consider the Cap and Trade bill that will place enormous cost and burden on homeowners and corporations while cutting jobs for Americans. Consider the eventual increase in taxation that is necessary due to the stimulus packages. Consider you will be required to have health care and if not, you will be fined. Consider government seeking to define personal relationships. Government is now present with us throughout our day whether we are at home, in our car, conducting business, at the doctor, or making a banking transaction. Considering these facts, how free do you think you are and if this trend continues, how free do you think future generations of Americans will be? Those seeking our American revolution of independence and freedom looked toward limited government. It's ironic that now there seems to be no limit to government.

Mike,
I share all of the same thoughts as you. I am not a politian or an activist. The government has left us Americans with no choice but to speak up!

I'm not typically an activist. I'm not a politician. I tend to be mild-mannered by nature. I've lived my life by paying my own way, without relying upon others. I've done what many would consider the "right" thing and seen to my own affairs. As the government takes action to begin encroaching upon my life in ways I've not thought possible, I can't help but contribute through my presence of mind and body. It's time to see that unncessary taxes escape Arizona (TEA) and even America. Let's look toward a Fair Tax solution.

Uninsured Statistics Show No Crisis

The article below is courtesy today of Investor Business Daily. I've added additional information in parenthesis. Please verify this information for yourself; don't take this information at face value, or the information our politicians provide. Make yourself aware so you can draw your own conclusions, whatever they may be.

America has a health care crisis.

No, we don't. Forty-seven million people (of a nation that currently numbers 305 million as of February 2009), lack insurance. Of t… Continue

Here A Crisis, There a Crisis

First, there was news from the White House that a crisis was brewing with the banking system in America, so a stimulus was needed. Banks are now not lending.

Next, there was news from the White House that a crisis was brewing with jobs in America, so a job stimulus package was needed. Employers are now not hiring...many are firing.

Again, there is news from the White House that a crisis is brewing with healthcare in America, so reform is needed. Up next, we'll find that medical providers are n… Continue
